Family Fun at the Aquarium

New Orleans has a beautiful Aquarium on the riverfront.  We go once a year when we’re down in the city at Mardi Gras time.  A wonderful new addition to the attraction is the Mayan Treasures theme and Parakeet Point.  We loved visiting with the birds – what a unique experience!  I hope you enjoy our pictures.IMG_8274 IMG_8269 IMG_8239 IMG_8248 IMG_8262 IMG_8228 IMG_8224 IMG_8271 IMG_0633 IMG_0657 IMG_8306 IMG_0660 IMG_0643 IMG_8251  P.S.  If a bird in the hand is worth two in the bush, what is a bird in the boot worth?

About danardoyle

I am a Catholic, working wife and mother. I have three children ages 10, 16 and 23. I am extremely busy, as you can imagine. I aim each and every day to put God first in my life, to teach my children the Faith, to be a supportive spouse, keep the house in order, and do my job outside of the home well, too. That's an impossible task - without Divine intervention! Here, I hope to share my triumphs and struggles with other working moms in the same boat. I will share the tools I have discovered to making it all work - most days!

This aquarium that has birds and other things appears similar to what we have in San Francisco at the California Academy of Sciences in Golden Gate Park. There is a tropical rain forest permanent exhibit and an aquarium.

    Nice photos. Thanks for sharing.
