Bucket List

Help my children and husband (and myself!) get to heaven

Spread the message of the Sacred Heart of Jesus far and wide

Develop a closer relationship to Jesus and to the Blessed Mother

Read the bible from cover to cover – STILL not done!

Get a book published by a “real” publisher

Travel up the east coast all the way to Maine, stopping along the way

Visit all of the beautiful, historic churches in New Orleans

Design and Plant an AMAZING flower garden

Conquer my fear of flying and roaches – maybe

I had graduate, take ice skating lessons, get married, have children, own a home, write a book, teach, purchase a new car and go to Our Lady of the Angels Monastery on my list. I’ve been blessed to have done all of those things!

Some of you might read this and think that it is a very boring bucket list.  I can deal with that.  I am a very simple person.  What makes me happy – Jesus, smiles, sunshine and blue skies!  What’s on your bucket list?

About danardoyle

I am a Catholic, working wife and mother. I have three children ages 14, 20 and 27. I am extremely busy, as you can imagine. I aim each and every day to put God first in my life, to teach my children the Faith, to be a supportive spouse, keep the house in order, and do my job outside of the home well, too. That's an impossible task - without Divine intervention! Here, I hope to share my triumphs and struggles with other working moms in the same boat. I will share the tools I have discovered to making it all work - most days!
