Something to Hold Onto

In the alternate reading for today, there are some beautiful words of reassurance from St. Paul.  Ironically (or not so) I heard a woman on the radio quote this passage just yesterday afternoon on my commute home from work.  I’ve got it God!  Thanks!  Hope it speaks to you today as well.

Rom 8:28-30

Brothers and sisters:

We know that all things work for good for those who love God,

who are called according to his purpose.

For those he foreknew he also predestined

to be conformed to the image of his Son,

so that he might be the firstborn

among many brothers.

And those he predestined he also called;

and those he called he also justified;

and those he justified he also glorified.

About danardoyle

I am a Catholic, working wife and mother. I have three children ages 10, 16 and 23. I am extremely busy, as you can imagine. I aim each and every day to put God first in my life, to teach my children the Faith, to be a supportive spouse, keep the house in order, and do my job outside of the home well, too. That's an impossible task - without Divine intervention! Here, I hope to share my triumphs and struggles with other working moms in the same boat. I will share the tools I have discovered to making it all work - most days!
