Link to Radio Interview on Sacred Heart Radio

Click on Feb. 27th.   Fast forward, if you’d like to 48:35.

If anyone is interested, here is the link to listen to the interview I had on Sacred Heart Radio this Monday morning.  Said a few too many “ums,” – but not too bad for a first interview!  I was so nervous!!  Thanks to all who prayed for me!

About danardoyle

I am a Catholic, working wife and mother. I have three children ages 14, 20 and 27. I am extremely busy, as you can imagine. I aim each and every day to put God first in my life, to teach my children the Faith, to be a supportive spouse, keep the house in order, and do my job outside of the home well, too. That's an impossible task - without Divine intervention! Here, I hope to share my triumphs and struggles with other working moms in the same boat. I will share the tools I have discovered to making it all work - most days!

Well done, Dana! You did a terrific job. I’d have said twice as many ums! I admire how you did the interview despite being nervous. It is always good to spread the word about resources that may help others. Your experiences and your book will bring hope to other child abuse victims. I guess it took great courage to write the book and even greater courage to talk about it on live radio!!

I loved hearing your voice for the first time!

    God bless!

Thank you for taking the time to listen! So sweet! Did I sound different than you thought I would? I don’t like the sound of my voice on a video tape, radio etc. I think – Is that what others hear when they listen to me? Eek!

I think our voices sound different to us compared to what everyone else is hearing. They hear us like we sound on videos. But we don’t hear the same thing. Must be due to being inside our own heads or something!!!

I guess I usually read your words and hear an Australian accent just because that’s what I usually hear. Of course, I realised you wouldn’t sound like this. You have a beautiful voice and now I will imagine your words being spoken in your proper accent.

        God bless!
