Louisiana Life March 2012

This morning, my family took part in the Second Annual Louisiana Life March in Baton Rouge, our state capital.  A very good number of pro-life supporters showed up for the event despite scattered showers.  It was a very moving event that began at the old state capitol with a march.  All of the people we encountered were friendly and courteous.  It was wonderful to be part of a beautiful ecumenical effort.

There were speakers including Ben Clapper, the president of Louisiana right to Life, Senator David Vitter, a priest, a Baptist minister and an abortion victim who is now staunchly pro-life.  It ended with a pink and blue balloon release on the new state capitol’s lawn.

About danardoyle

I am a Catholic, working wife and mother. I have three children ages 10, 16 and 23. I am extremely busy, as you can imagine. I aim each and every day to put God first in my life, to teach my children the Faith, to be a supportive spouse, keep the house in order, and do my job outside of the home well, too. That's an impossible task - without Divine intervention! Here, I hope to share my triumphs and struggles with other working moms in the same boat. I will share the tools I have discovered to making it all work - most days!
