A Stroll in the Woods

A little summer adventure – A stroll in the woods at Big Branch Marsh National Wildlife Refuge in Lacombe, Louisiana revealed lots of beautiful surprises.

About danardoyle

I am a Catholic, working wife and mother. I have three children ages 10, 16 and 23. I am extremely busy, as you can imagine. I aim each and every day to put God first in my life, to teach my children the Faith, to be a supportive spouse, keep the house in order, and do my job outside of the home well, too. That's an impossible task - without Divine intervention! Here, I hope to share my triumphs and struggles with other working moms in the same boat. I will share the tools I have discovered to making it all work - most days!

Many thanks! I discovered photography just about a year or two ago. I love capturing beautiful images in an effort to show the “incredibleness” (I know! not a word!) of God, the Creator.

  2. What amazing photographs! Wow. I hope you experienced the beauty as much as I did while looking at your pictures!

I just love your photos, Dana! Is that purple flower a passionfruit flower?

    • danardoyle says:

Yes, the purple is a passion flower. I have a passion flower vine in my backyard, but it has ceased to bloom. I must do some research to discover what is lacking, so that hopefully, I can help it to bloom once again.
