Please Read About Me

I am a Catholic, working wife and mother.  My children are ages 7, 14 and 21.  My life, like all mothers – stay at home or not – is extremely busy.  I try hard to put God above all things in my life, be a supportive wife, caring mother, keep the house somewhat tidy and do my job outside of the home to the best of my ability.  It would all be impossible, if not for the support of family and LOTS of Divine intervention!  Pop in to share my triumphs, struggles and some words of wisdom from a work in progress – that’s me!

I enjoy teaching, writing, gardening, photography, bird- watching, hiking, canoeing and being outside on a warm, sunny day!  When it’s cold outside, I prefer to hibernate and read a good, inspirational book.

I have written three books.  “God Messaging…” is currently available on Kindle and in Paperback at Amazon.com.  You have to type in “God Messaging paperback” on the search bar to see the paper version.

The second, “A Cardinal Chorus,” is a religion teacher’s reproducible resource guide filled with songs for teaching the Catholic Faith.  It is also available in Kindle and paperback format at Amazon.com.

Lastly, “Hope for Healing From the Effects of Childhood Sexual Abuse” – not exactly light reading – but a book that I hope will be encouragement for many suffering from the effects of incest or abuse.  I call it a Catholic “survivor to survivor” guide to the healing process. It is available in Kindle and paperback formats on Amazon.com.

Hi! I’ve been using your name ‘danardoyle’ in my comments with you. Today, I saw your name on Ellen Gable’s blog. Do you prefer everyone to use your name as given on this blog to maintain a bit of privacy? I hope you understand what I am trying to say!

Sorry Dana, I am confusing, I know! It didn’t occur to me that your name was Dana Doyle. I know… I am very slow. I just thought you’d come up with an internet name like many bloggers to conceal your identity. There are some great made up names out there! When I saw Ellen’s post and your name I thought, “Of course! Why didn’t I know that?”

Yes, I am Sue. And I live in Australia. I love being able to chat with you too. Thank you for being patient with a very slow thinking blogger. God bless!

  3. I have to tell you how much I love your banner photo. It looks almost magical–like the third bird was once stone like the other two and has come to life. Just lovely.

Hi Dana, thanks for your note on my blog. Yes, my family had our home enthroned to the Sacred Heart of Jesus last Fall. We are blessed to be close friends with Fr. Jim Kubicki, SJ who is the head of the National Office of the Apostleship of Prayer and he is deeply devoted to the Sacred Heart of Jesus and came to our house to say Mass and help our family to consecrate ourselves and to enthrone our home to the Sacred Heart of Jesus.
