Today, my husband was off of work. We went out to lunch at the Rusty Pelican. The kids love to get the bottled Abita Root Beer there. We love their crab cakes as they are the best around! Afterward, we sat in the shade under a big oak tree at the lakefront while the kids played. The breeze coming off of the lake waters really made the 95 degree temps bearable even pleasant. We then drove to pick up some yummy, cold snowballs at Papa Sams. Their ice is shaved so finely. Yum! I topped off the afternoon with a wonderful little nap. Won’t be doing that again for a while!
Tomorrow, it’s back to work – setting up a classroom and preparing for a new batch of students! Please pray for me – for the guidance of the Holy Spirit. Many thanks!
