Last night, I awakened multiple times with a horrible, hacking cough. During one of my bouts, around midnight, the television was still playing and was on EWTN. Between programs, a neat very short program was shown. It was called a “Young Catholic Minute.” It lasted about a minute and a half, was clever, funny and answered a typical question that a Catholic teen might ask. This particular mini film was about “Truth.” It featured a young man who was fixing to jump off of a building, citing that he didn’t believe in gravity. He jumped and got hurt, of course! The message was simple – somethings are true even if we don’t believe in them.
I showed a couple of these short takes to my students today after exams had been completed. If you have a teen in your household, or work with teens, you really should check these out!
